Ciao, Italia!
/Ciao!
I've just returned from beautiful Italy, and traveled from the coasts of Amalfi, to the historic city of Rome, and through the romantic countryside in between. This is my second time in Italy, and I love getting to know a country better because you can take the time to further appreciate its beauty, without being overwhelmed with all of the site-seeing spots you need to get to. I fell in love with the country after seeing more of it and it is now one of my top visited places in the world.
My first stop was Cinque Terre, off of the west coast of Italy. The "five towns" is full of vividly-colored homes and beautiful cliffs. Lemon trees line the streets, along with orange and olive trees. The water is a clear deep blue and watching the waves hit the colorful house-line cliffs is a moment in itself.
Being here makes me want to throw on an easy summer dress and stroll the towns, stop for some gelato, and continue on towards the ocean breeze without a care in the world.
